Compassionate counseling for children and adults in Tennessee

Welcome!

Hey there. I’m so glad you found your way here.

Are you parenting a child who feels like a walking bundle of big emotions? Maybe they’re melting down over the wrong color cup, can’t sit still, or seem constantly overwhelmed, and you're left wondering if this is normal or if you're doing something wrong.

Or maybe you’re a first-time modrowning in sleep schedules, feeding advice, and that nagging feeling you should be doing it all better. You’re exhausted, touched out, and second-guessing everything. You’re not alone. And no, it’s not supposed to feel this hard all the time.

Maybe you just want to feel more confident. Set boundaries without the guilt. Break out of old patterns. Parent in a way that actually feels good.

Whatever brought you here, I’m delighted you're here.

I am so glad you are here!

I’m Rachel. a counselor, public speaker, mom of two, nature walker, pet cuddler, book lover, and someone who firmly believes cookies can be therapeutic.

I’ve spent years supporting kids and parents through the hard stuff. I know how heavy it can feel when your child is struggling or when you are. Therapy with me is real, compassionate, and never cookie-cutter. I believe meaningful change starts with feeling safe, seen, and understood. From there, we figure out what works for your family.

My ideal client

For kids- I work with children who feel anxious, misunderstood, overwhelmed, or stuck. I help them build tools to manage big feelings, improve focus, and feel more in control of their world. One small, confidence-building step at a time.

For parents- I support parents who are tired of walking on eggshells, repeating themselves 400 times a day, or feeling like they’re failing despite doing everything they can. Whether you’re overwhelmed by your child’s behavior, stuck in survival mode, or just feeling disconnected from yourself, I help you find clarity, confidence, and a path forward that feels like you.

For moms- Especially first-time moms who feel like they’ve lost themselves in the chaos of new motherhood. Together, we’ll sort through the noise, quiet the shame, and help you feel like yourself again, not just someone’s snack-fetcher.
